LIVERPOOL: British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak informed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday (Oct 8) Britain was standing with Israel “unequivocally” following the assaults by Hamas and that London was working to make sure the world speaks in a single voice.
Israel bombarded Gaza on Sunday after struggling its bloodiest assault in many years, when Hamas fighters rampaged through Israeli towns killing 600 and abducting dozens extra, because the spiralling violence threatened a serious new Center East warfare.
“(Sunak) reaffirmed that the UK will stand with Israel unequivocally in opposition to these acts of terror. The prime minister provided Prime Minister Netanyahu any assist Israel wants,” Sunak’s Downing Avenue workplace stated in a press release following a cellphone name between the 2 leaders.
